Co-Op Winemaking: Crushings and Pressings for Fall 2024

The Vegas Valley Winery Co-Op is pleased to announce the Winemaking Schedule for October 2024. This is our first official Co-Op winemaking event. Members of the Co-Op will be able to participate in the Crushing and Pressing of 3 varietals of wine in our winery. The scale, quality, and scope of the winemaking will produce commercial-quality (and perhaps award-winning, like our previous vintages) wines.

Co-Op members may RSVP and join any, all, or none of the sessions, as they desire. There is no charge to participate for members. For those familiar with winemaking the “Grape Expectations Way”, you are similarly invited to come 15 minutes earlier than your session, bring a dish of food or appetizers to share, get your monthly bottle of wine from the Tasting Room, or buy wine or cider from the Tasting Room to enjoy before, during and after the winemaking. Seating will be set up family-style. There will be room for all RSVP’d members and plenty of socializing happening.

This is a Members-Only Event…however…

One session will be available to non-members with the purchase of a ticket. This will allow you to invite guests to participate in one session of the winemaking with you…with the purchase of a ticket (CRUSH and  PRESS link here). Your friends and family are, of course, invited to join the Co-Op at any time to participate in all of the winemaking without the need of purchasing a separate ticket.

Winemaking Schedule

Saturday, October 5^th – 1pm Cabernet will be crushed

Saturday, October 5^th – 2pm Zinfandel will be crushed

Saturday, October 5^th – 3:30 Petite Sirah will be crushed
